It’s funny how you make plans, but life interferes, inspiration hits you and suddenly your way changes.
Long story short: Actually, I planned a series of NoS(Northern Sphinx)-related small acrylic paintings, where I’ll paint 1-2 per month for the rest of the year. Well … last weekend I drew five. And it turns out that they are connected in a special way, as, all together, they tell a part of the background-story of NoS. So I decided to make a sort of comic out of those little works.
So, here’s a photo of the current state:

Those six works are finished so far. A few are missing – which will be painted once I’m back at my atelier in ~2 weeks. Until then I have to decided how much I want to reveal about the symbolism of NoS, as she, the Northern Sphinx, has a very special and personal meaning to me.
