I Found

(sketched with pencil and charcoal on A4)

“I’ll use you as a warning sign
That if you talk enough sense then you’ll lose your mind
I’ll use you as a focal point
So I don’t lose sight of what I want
I’ll use you as a makeshift gauge
Of how much to give and how much to take

I found love where it wasn’t supposed to be
Right in front of me
Talk some sense to me”

Spontaneous sketch inspired by the music of Amber Run.

  1. I thinks it the first time you’ve drawn a dragon guy, usually it’s always dragon girls x)

Maybe I don’t understand something in the lyrics well, but I wonder why they look so sad, while they should be happy as they’ve found love no?

True XD This time I decided differently; generally I plan to draw more dragonic humans, female and male too~
(kind of had a dragon&princess theme in mind, where the princess goes with the dragon and not the knight; that’s also what I meant here with “found love where it wasn’t supposed to be”)

Because their love doesn’t ‘make sense’ logically and therefore creates an internal struggle.

      1. The idea of the princess that goes with the dragon is very funny x)

There is case where love make sense logically? x)

Yes. It makes sense when a human loves a human. And not when a human loves an animal (or fantastic beast) in a romantic way 😀

  2. Doesn’t sound that illogical to me, at least they’re less disappointing than humans

Then you seem to not understand the term “romantic love” correctly. I love my dog more than most people, but not in a romantic way. I love him like family. That’s a difference.

      1. I’m not sure to get the relation of your answer with what I’ve said, but well x)
