Cover Feature Illustration commission I did earlier this year for the publication of Studt-Reinhold et al. in ChemBioChem.

For a science-to-public event I was illustrating some posters and did graphics for the website earlier this year. Lots of little Pauls hiding everywhere 🙂 and the comic you see below (german, sorry) where the process of sample preparation, chromatography and mass spectrometry is explained in a veeeery simplified way on the example of analysis of theobromine in chocolate.

2017 was, without a doubt, a very eventful year – in many ways.
So far, 2017 was the busiest year regarding commissions (I stopped counting after 30 CMs; I surely wasn’t bored this year with lots of CMs as well as many personal projects – about which I’ll write more during this year – and the biotech university kept me busy too, haha). The commission waiting list felt endless, with many great projects and commissioners. Thanks a thousand times to all of you, who commissioned me!
Last year also confronted me with things I haven’t done/drawn before – like logo design, book illustrations, tattoo designs, etc. Summed up, it was amazing!
