You can never know what emotions people choose to not express, but unexpressed emotions will never die.
They are buried alive and will come forth later in uglier ways. They are rising beasts. One day you cannot stop them from coming anymore.
But emotions make us human.
“Hoard of Beasts” is all about sensations, emotions, feelings.
We don’t have a language for senses, emotions and sensations, that truly expresses their meaning.
Feelings are images, expressed in art.

Die sind richtig toll geworden, mit Fokus auf den Köpfen und in Rauch und Schatten übergehend.
Lieben Dank! Ursprünglich wollte ich alles klar/detailliert malen, dachte mir dann aber, dass Gefühle doch eigentlich nie gänzlich klar sind, sondern teils “verwischen” oder mit anderen verbunden sind.
Ich habe später auch realisiert, dass weniger manchmal mehr sein kann. Früher lag bei meinen Zeichnungen der Fokus überall, alles gleichwegs detailliert, aber auch umso anstrengender fürs Auge und nicht so spannend. Man möchte ja auch Abwechslung haben und nicht nur einen Haufen Details.
Die gleiche Erfahrung hab ich auch gemacht.
Ich finde auch, dass so die vorhandenen Details besser zur Geltung kommen, als wenn alles voll von Details ist – so gibt es “Fixpunkte”, die dem Auge halt geben.
