2017 was, without a doubt, a very eventful year – in many ways.
So far, 2017 was the busiest year regarding commissions (I stopped counting after 30 CMs; I surely wasn’t bored this year with lots of CMs as well as many personal projects – about which I’ll write more during this year – and the biotech university kept me busy too, haha). The commission waiting list felt endless, with many great projects and commissioners. Thanks a thousand times to all of you, who commissioned me!
Last year also confronted me with things I haven’t done/drawn before – like logo design, book illustrations, tattoo designs, etc. Summed up, it was amazing!
So here I want to share a few of my favorite commission works from this year!
I’ll start with the biggest project: illustrations for a lovely german fantasy book for kids & adults, which will be published this or next year. (I’ll make a blog post as soon as it’s released)
Here are some of my favorites: (to see all the dragon drawings and more you need to wait until the book is published 😉 )
Next, I want to show you one of the little Logo design series I did for an Indie-beer-brand:
And for nature cosmetics:
And two regular commissions which were lovely to work on, as those two dragons have a special meaning to the commissioner:
But even though 2017 was a great year, I don’t plan to take as many commissions anymore as I did last year (my priorities are different this year); therefore the waiting list will be limited to a maximum of 3-5 slots. But before I’ll open those, I’m going to update my terms of service. Commission slots will open again in August. I’ll keep you updated!
