On the ceiling, in the sky
Then it awakens, it consumes me
I stand between worlds
Halfway here, hallway there
In between I’m at home

(Work in progress. Started as a sketch, but then escalated. Concept art of a fantasy owl design.)

(Acrylics on 18x24cm wooden painting board; little 1h warm-up work featuring the Northern Sphinx)

– for I nearly had forgotten how much light there could be, when I was admiring the depths of the shadows between the stars.
