Quick work, based on an old idea and poem/song:
“Looking down at this barren land,
once known as home before.
Destruction, all the world,
it’s an ending we have brought.
And when the ashes start to rise
and the clouds fall from the sky
and a thousand fires burn into the night.
When the flames reach high in the sky
and the spirits softly cry
about the sins of mankind.
Still loking down at this broken land,
once grass has turned to sand.
Hindsight’s broke, sky is smoke,
all warnings were unheard.
And when the ashes start to rise
and the clouds fall from the sky
and a thousand fires burn into the night.
When the flames reach high in the sky
and the spirits softly cry
about the sins of mankind.
But in the end, when all’s over,
after man-caused destruction ruled
and erased every living being,
Nature will rise again,
out of the ashes and dust
mankind left behind.”
